THE WOMAN BEHIND THE MISSION
JASMIN BAROS
I am a San Francisco native, born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area. I was born with a fierce desire to make sense of my surroundings and a deep, insatiable curiosity about absolutely everything, I have been disrupting the narrative since childhood. When most kids struggled to grasp complex math concepts, I enjoyed both problem solving and setting up processes to succeed.
Having worked as an Office Manager and Senior Bookkeeper for more than 24 years for a local union office, I was trained and ready to shake things up in the accounting industry.
Since 2010, I have been an entrepreneur. From turning a delivery truck to a mobile fashion boutique on the weekends to co-owning The Cake Queen & Coffee Bar, LLC in 2019. My key position with the bakery has been financial planning, management of all the construction/build out/facilities maintenance, equipment purchasing and monthly accounting.
In 2016, I took a bold step and founded JB Bookkeeping & Taxes. Together with my small, dedicated team, we work closely with numerous business owners to support their financial needs. As a business owner myself, I understand the importance of treating our clients’ accounting and administrative tasks as if they were my own. This approach fosters trust and ensures that we deliver the personalized service and attention to detail that our clients deserve. We are committed to helping businesses thrive by providing tailored solutions that address their unique challenges.
I am experienced in personal tax returns. I enjoy guiding clients through their tax process and enjoy working with many clients who simply want to be sure their returns are done correctly each year.
